Fulham have made submitted a big worth £15 million for Ajax defender Calvin Bassey according to The Athletic.
The Nigeria international joined Ajax last summer from Scottish giants Rangers and made a total of 39 appearances in all competitions, scoring once and providing five assists as de Godenzonen finished third rivals behind Feyenoord and runners-up in the Dutch Cup and Dutch Super Cup.
Ajax are yet to respond to the offer for Bassey who is also reported to be of interest to another Premier League side in Brighton & Hove Albion.
Bassey’s career began at youth level with Leicester City before going on to Rangers to kick start his senior career.
He has been capped 10 times for the Nigeria national team since making his debut in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying playoff against Ghana last March.
