Mathys Tel has joined Tottenham Hotspur on a permanent basis from Bayern Munich after putting pen to paper a five-year deal worth a reported £30 million, Afrosport reports.
The 20-year-old Frenchman initially joined Spurs on loan in February, making 20 appearances, scoring three goals and providing one assist as the North London club won their first title in 17 years by lifting the Europa League in Bilbao.
“We are delighted to announce the permanent signing of Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich on a contract that will run until 2031,” the club said in a post on X.
