Bournemouth recorded a hard fought 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur which played a vital role in their survival hopes, with Dominic Solanke at the heart of it all.
The Cherries face a tough battle to beat the drop and secure their league status for next season, and it was never going to come easy against the Lilywhites who are chasing a top four spot.
It looked liked it was going to be a long afternoon when Bournemouth went behind via Son Heung-min’s 14th minute strike. Gary O’Neil’s side however pulled their way back through Matias Vina and Solanke.
Spurs made it 2-2 through substitute and Dutch-Nigerian forward Arnaut Danjuma before Burkina Faso midfielder Dango Ouattara netted the winner deep in injury.
Solanke provided the assists for Vina and Ouattara’s goals and in doing so he became the only player alongside Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne and Phil Foden to score and assist in three different Premier League games this season.

Solanke had done so earlier in a 3-2 win at Nottingham Forest last September and a 2-2 with Fulham in October. The 25-year-old Anglo-Nigerian now has five goals and six assists in 26 Premier League outings.
Also, Ouattara’s winner at 94 minutes 11 seconds was the latest winning goal Bournemouth have scored in the Premier League and the second latest scored against Spurs since Mario Balotelli did at 94 minutes 39 seconds in January 2012 while playing for Manchester City.
