Tolu Arokodare scored his first goal of the season but it was not enough as Genk lost 3-1 to Leuven in the Belgian Pro League on Saturday evening.
Moroccan Youssef Maziz put Leuven ahead in the 22nd minute before Thibault Vlietinck made it 2-0 14 minutes later.
The second half saw the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) disallow a goal for both sides before Arokodare halved the deficit in the 62nd minute off an assist from Nigerian teammate Yira Sor.

There was no way back for Genk as Iceland’s Jon Dagur Thorsteinsson sealed the three points for Leuven in the 85th minute.
Genk are now winless in their opening two league games and Arokodare will be hoping to aid their first win when they host Club Brugge next Sunday.
