Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru says he has improved in the physical and tactical aspects of the game in his time so far at Lazio, Afrosport reports.
The 24-year-old is currently on loan with the Italian capital outfit on loan from Hatayspor and has impressed with five goals and two assists in 22 competitive games.
Three of those goals have come in the Serie A, the latest one coming off the bench in the 5-1 win over struggling Monza on Sunday which moved them into the top four.
Reflecting on his performance, Dele-Bashiru said: “It’s been a perfect week for me, I’ve given myself a wonderful moment, but the team’s victory is even more important. There’s a wonderful group here, it’s ideal. The coach believes in everyone.
“…Something that really amuses me. The coach and the team help me, I’ve improved physically and tactically.”
Lazio will next take on Serie A leaders Napoli at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday.
