Leicester City have completed the signing of French defender Woyo Coulibaly from Italian club Parma for a reported fee of around £3 million, the Premier League club announced on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old full-back, who began his career at French club Le Havre, joined Parma in August 2021 and has since made 88 appearances for the Serie A side.
Coulibaly becomes Leicester’s first signing under Ruud van Nistelrooy, who took over the reins as the Foxes’ manager in November 2024.
“It’s an honour to be here,” he said. “I feel very good, very welcomed and the training ground is very impressive.
“There’s been a lot of impressive players at the club. It’s going to be a challenge in the Premier League but one that I’m very much looking forward to.”

Woyo Coulibaly has played 15 times for Parma this season, including 14 matches in the Serie A, where he has provided two assists with the club 15th in the Serie A standings with 19 points, a point above the relegation zone.
The Frenchman joins former Leicester, who are currently struggling to keep their place in the Premier League, having just returned to the top-flight this season.
The former Premier League champions, who suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace on Wednesday, are 19th in the league standings with 14 points, two from safety.
The Foxes are next in action on Saturday, when they host Fulham at the King Power Stadium.
