The Falconets of Nigeria have been drawn in Group D for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup alongside Germany, Venezuela and South Korea.
Nigeria will be making their 11th consecutive appearance at the mundial where that are two-time runners-up and reached the quarter-finals of the last edition in Costa Rica two years ago.
They will have it all to do against a German side that is the joint-most successful World Cup team with three titles along with the United States.
The South Koreans are appearing in the tournament for the seventh time while the Venezuelans are making only their second-ever outing since 2016.
The U-20 Women’s World Cup will take place in Colombia from August 31 to September 22 in four venues across three cities.
The Falconets will begin their Group campaign against the South Koreans in Bogota on September 1 followed by the Germans and finally the Venezuelans in Cali on September 7.
In other pairings, Cameroon were drawn in Group A along with Australia, Mexico and hosts Colombia while Morocco are in Group C with Spain, Paraguay and the United States.

Ghana are the final African team in Group E along with Japan, Austria and New Zealand.
