Cedric Bakambu and Antony were involved in all the goals in Real Betis’ 4-0 win over Vitoria Guimaraes in the UEFA Conference League round of 16 second leg on Thursday night, Afrosport reports.
DR Congo international Bakambu scored a brace inside the opening 20 minutes to put Betis 4-2 up on aggregate after the 2-2 draw from the first leg in Seville last week.
It took his Conference League tally to five goals in nine games which is the most by a Betis player in Europe in a single season since Giovanni Lo Celso hit the same numbers in the Europa League in 2018-19.

Antony went on the register his name on the scoresheet in the 58th minute off an assist from Isco before turning provider for the former Real Madrid midfielder to make it four.
It took the Manchester United’s loanne’s tally since joining the club in January to four goals and four assists in 10 competitive outings.
Betis will now take on Polish side Jagiellonia after they saw off Cercle Brugge of Belgium 3-2 on aggregate.
In other Conference League results, two-time runners-up Fiorentina also made it through after beating Panathinaikos 3-1 and 5-4 on aggregate. They will face Celje of Slovenia after their 3-1 penalty shootout win over Lugano of Switzerland.

Swedish side Djurgarden also went through after dispatching Pafos of Cyprus 3-1 on aggregate to set up a quarter-final meeting with Rapid Vienna of Austria following their 3-2 aggregate win (after extra time) against Bosnian outfit Borac Banja Luka.
