Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi has called on his team to show determination in their quest to win the UEFA Champions League when they take on Paris Saint-Germain in Munich on Saturday night, Afrosport reports.
The Nerazzurri are in the final for the second time in two seasons and will be eyeing the title they last won in 2010 when they defeated Bayern Munich on the way to a historic treble.
Inter got to this final by dispatching one of the strong favourites, Barcelona, in an epic 7-6 aggregate win in the semi-finals.
Inzaghi has warned his team not to see winning the final as an obsession despite their fine run of form in the competition.
“We must be determined but not obsessed. We know how strong our opponents are, but we will play to our strength as we always have,” the Italian said.
“Clearly, the journey we have been on has given us a lot of confidence – it was full of obstacles. We got here thanks to our determination and aggressiveness, and we don’t want to stop now. The lads know that and will do everything to overcome this final hurdle.”
