Reigning African Player of the Year Ademola Lookman registered his name on the scoresheet as Atalanta thumped Juventus 4-0 at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday night, Afrosport reports.
La Dea went ahead in the 29th minute through Mateo Retegui before Marten de Roon doubled it at the start of the second half.
Former Chelsea full-back Davide Zappacosta was the next player to add his name on the scoresheet in the 66th minute before Lookman put the icing on the cake with a powerful low shot in the 77th minute.
It took the Super Eagles forward’s Serie A tally to 13 goals for the season, matching his career best during his maiden Atalanta campaign in 2022-23.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s men also moved six points clear of Juventus to solidify third spot and are three points behind leaders Inter Milan.
