South Africa head coach Hugo Broos on Thursday announced his final 23-man squad for next month’s international friendlies, Afrosport reports.
Bafana Bafana will play Tanzania on Friday, 6 June, at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane before taking on Mozambique on Tuesday, 10 June, at Loftus Stadium in Pretoria.
Broos has called up several new faces in his latest squad, comprising mostly home-based players, with only two currently playing abroad – defender Samukelo Kabini (Molde FK in Norway) and midfielder Luke Le Roux (IFK Värnamo in Switzerland).
The Belgian coach invited nine players from Orlando Pirates, with the rest shared among other South African clubs, including Polokwane City, Stellenbosch, Supersport United, and Sekhukhune FC.

Broos, meanwhile, revealed that the team declined an invitation to play a friendly match against Morocco’s Atlas Lions.
South Africa will use the June friendlies to prepare for September’s round of matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, where they currently sit atop Group C with 13 points.
