Earlier on Sunday, seven players arrived at the Eagles camp, but the newly-arrived players bring the number of invitees to 19.
Familiar names like Napoli marksman Victor Osimhen, team captain Ahmed Musa, left back Zaidu Sanusi, and Spain-based winger Samuel Chukwueze, who all make up the initial 23-man invited squad, are expected to arrive on the shores of the country today.
The Super Eagles currently top Group A with nine points from four games, and they were 2-1 winners in the reverse fixture in Abuja thanks to goals from Iwobi and Victor Osimhen canceling out Jonathan Morsay’s shocking opener.
The match against the Leone Stars will be played at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium in Monrovia, Liberia, on Sunday, June 18, as the home side does not have a suitable stadium in their country approved by CAF.
The game will kick off at 5pm WAT on Sunday, June 18, and you can watch it live on Afrosport TV on Free TV channel 730 and on VIDIVU
