Egypt forward Omar Marmoush scored twice as Eintracht Frankfurt held record Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich to a 3-3 draw at Waldstadion on Sunday, Afrosport reports.
Die Adler were 3-1 winners away at Besiktas in midweek with Marmoush also netting in the game.
Die Bayern meanwhile lost at Aston Villa in the Champions League for manager Vincent Kompany’s first defeat since taking charge in the summer.
The Bavarian giants went ahead against Frankfurt through South Korean centre-back Kim Min-Jae in the 15th minute before Marmoush levelled for the home team with a clinical finish seven minutes later.
The former Wolfsburg player then turned provider for Hugo Ekitike to give Frankfurt a 2-1 in the 35th minute only to be pegged back by Dayot Upamecano’s effort three minutes later.
New signing Michael Olise put Bayern 3-2 up in the 53rd minute with an exquisite finish but Marmoush had the last say in the dying minutes to give Frankfurt a point.

The 25-year-old now leads the Bundesliga goalscorers chart with eight goals and four assists in six league games, three goals more than Bayern’s Harry Kane.
He will now focus on his attention on Egypt’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations double header against Mauritania on October 11 and 15.
