The Gambia Under-20 national team Abdoulie Bojang has called on his team to be vigilant as they prepare to take on Zambia in Group C of the Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations on Friday.
The Young Scorpions won their first game against Tunisia 1-0 and victory over the 2017 champions will seal their place in the quarter-finals.
Bojang, however, wants the bronze medalists from the last U-20 AFCON edition in Mauritania not be carried away, but be prepared mentally.
“We must be vigilant, concentrated, we must not rush because we won our first match by discipline and determination,” Bojang said on the CAF website.

“You have to be mentally concerned. We will see everything to qualify, I try to motivate the players to no longer have disappointment like in Liberia.
““Zambia has a great team, they want a win at all costs. We must not have excuses, new ground or not, we will fight for The Gambia.”
The Gambia will conclude their Group C campaign against fellow West African side Benin.
