Nigeria’s women’s national team, the Super Falcons, will be in action later this month when they take on France’s Les Bleues in another international friendly match set for Saturday, November 30, Afrosport reports.
The nine-time African champions, who recently dispatched Algeria’s Green Ladies in a friendly double-header in October, will battle the European giants at the Stade Raymond Kopa in Angers, France, with kick-off set for 9:30pm local time.
The Super Falcons, led by interim coach Justin Madugu, secured a 2-0 win over the Green Ladies in Ikene, before recording a 4-1 victory in Lagos, with the team majorly made up of players plying their trade in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, France, who will play Spain in another friendly three days later at the Allianz Riviera on Nice, are looking to use the match against Nigeria as preparation for the UEFA Women’s Nations League and the 2025 Women’s European Championship in Switzerland.
The Super Falcons, on the other hand, continue to gear up for the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
