Premier League: Man United lose to Forest as Crystal Palace draw with Man City

Manchester United lost 3-2 when they hosted Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford in Saturday’s Premier League action, Afrosport reports.

Nikola Milenkovic got the opener after two minutes but the first half ended level after Rasmund Holjund scored.

Two goals in the first 10 minutes of the second half by Chris Wood and Morgan Gibbs White saw Forrest go 3-1 up but Bruno Fernandes found the back of the net soon after to half the deficit.

Out-of-form Manchester City had their work cut out as they could only draw 2-2 with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Daniel Muooz and Maxence LaCroix gave the home team the lead twice but Erling Haaland and Rico Lewis both equalised on two different occasions in a game that ended with Rico Lewis getting sent off for two bookable offences.

Meanwhile, Southampton’s trip to Villa Park saw them extend their winless run to five matches as they lost 1-0  to Aston Villa courtesy of Jhon Duran’s 24th minute goal.

Brentford and Newcastle United battled it out in a high scoring game that ended in favor of the Bees as they won 4-2.

Bryan Mbeumo, Yoane Wissa, Nathan Collins and Kevin Schade each got a goal for Brentford while Alexander Isak and Harvey Barnes scored for the Magpies.
