Algeria and Marseille forward Amine Gouiri on Sunday won the Ligue 1 Goal of the Season award at the 33rd edition of the French Playersβ Union (UNFP) Trophies Gala, Afrosport reports.
Gouiri got the nod, winning the Just Fontaine trophy with his spectacular bicycle kick goal for Marseille in their 4-1 win against Brest at Stade Velodrome on Sunday, 27 April.
The 25-year-old, who scored a hat-trick in the game, controlled a cross from Mason Greenwood on his chest before unleashing a brilliant bicycle kick into the bottom corner for his second goal of the game and his clubβs third.

Gouiri, who joined Marseille in January from Rennes, has 10 goals and three assists in 13 league matches and has helped Les Phoceens secure Champions League qualification for next season.
Marseille sits second in Ligue 1 with 62 points, one ahead of third-placed Monaco, with just one more game remaining in the league this season.
