Manchester United and Chelsea played out a 1-1 draw in Sunday’s Premier League encounter at Old Trafford, Afrosport reports.
The first half was goalless as both sides kept going at it but could not find the back of the net. The opener came 25 minutes into the second half after a Chelsea error gave Bruno Fernandes the chance from the penalty spot which he converted for his first league goal of the season.
Four minutes later, a Casemiro header into the path of Moses Caicedo saw him take the volley into the bottom corner of the post to finally get past Andre Onana.
United and Chelsea kept trying to find a winner but none could score again as the draw places Enzo Maresca’s team back into the top four spot while the Red Devils are still in the bottom half of the table.
