Super Eagles defender Ola Aina is up for Nottingham Forest’s November goal of the month award alongside five others, including teammate Anthony Elanga.
The former Chelsea and Torino fullback has had his wonder strike against Aston Villa nominated for the club award, which was announced on their official website on Thursday.
The 27-year-old scored the first goal for Garibaldi in their 2-0 win over Villa, powering in a low strike from long range into the bottom corner, beating Emiliano Martinez for his only league goal of the season so far.

Aina, who also won the Forest’s player of the month award for September, will face competition from Swedish forward Elanga for his finish against West Ham United, which Aina assisted.
B Team duo Ateef Konate and Jack Thompson were also nominated for their strikes against Wolves and Accrington Stanley, respectively; and Forest Women midfielder Niamh Reynolds completes the shortlist for her goal against Sheffield FC.
Forest are currently 15th in the Premier League standings and will welcome an embattled Everton side to the City Ground on Saturday.
