NFF reveals venue, date for 2025 President Federation Cup final

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Monday announced that the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos will host the final of the 2025 President Federation Cup, Afrosport reports.

This marks the second straight year the competition’s final will be held in Lagos, with this year’s edition scheduled for Saturday, 28 June.

A new winner will be crowned in this edition of the President Federation Cup – Nigeria’s oldest cup competition.

A battle between Nigeria’s top two divisions is on the cards in the men’s final as Ebonyi-based Abakaliki FC, a Nigeria National League (NNL) side, will lock horns against Nigeria Premier League (NPFL) club Kwara United.

Meanwhile, in the women’s final, holders Rivers Angels will be hoping to defend their title against Nasarawa Amazons in a much-anticipated battle.

El-Kanemi Warriors are the defending champions in the men’s category following a 2-0 win over Abia Warriors in last year’s final, while River Angels topped Naija Ratels 1-0 in the women’s event.

The winner in the men’s final of the 2025 President Federation Cup will represent Nigeria on the continental stage in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
