Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says Thomas Partey is recovering well from his hamstring injury.
The Ghana international has been out of action since October last year which excluded him from the Black Stars’ 2023 Africa Cup of Nations campaign which ended with a group stage exit.
Partey’s progress has been of concern to fans who see him as an influential player in their hopes to win the Premier League for the first time in two decades.
“No big set-backs and Thomas Partey is progressing really well and I don’t want to say too much, but it is looking good,” Arteta said in a press conference ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League game with Burnley.

He further added: “Some of them have been progressing more than others, we have got a training session today and I am positive we will get a few players back tomorrow.
“We have to go game-by-game and in the last few weeks we have had to play other players and we have not had players to do so, certain players we have tried to manage that in the best way.”
Arsenal currently sit in third place on the table, two points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool.
