Akinade Onigbinde has stepped down from his role as technical adviser of Nigeria National League (NNL) side Doma United, Afrosport reports.
Onigbinde spent three years with the Savannah Tigers, overseeing a remarkable rise that saw the club earn promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) in the 2023-24 season.
However, Doma struggled in their debut NPFL campaign and were relegated after just one season in the top flight. Despite putting up a strong fight in the NNL last term, they narrowly missed out on a promotion playoff spot.
With the new NNL season approaching, the Gombe-based club are in search of a new technical adviser.
Doma are expected to resume for the new NNL season in the coming weeks, with the league body tentatively targeting October for resumption.
