Moffi shone for Nice in September with two goals and an assist to maintain their unbeaten start to the new campaign.
The former Lorient man kicked off with a goal against Strasbourg in his side’s 2-0 win earlier in the month. He then bagged a brace and provided an assist in their famous 3-2 win over defending champion Paris Saint-Germain, Nice’s first win at the Parc des Princes in 14 years.
The Nigeria international will be gunning to win the accolade for the first time since he moved to France in 2020 from Belgian side Kortrijk.
