Teenage sensation Lamine Yamal has signed a new six-year contract to remain with Barcelona until at least 2031, the club announced on Tuesday.
Yamal, whose previous contract was set to expire at the end of the 2025-26 season, has committed his future to the Catalan club, having enjoyed a fantastic breakout season.
The 17-year-old helped Barcelona secure a domestic treble, scoring 18 goals and providing 25 assists in 55 appearances across all competitions, winning La Liga, Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup.

The soon-to-be 18-year-old, who is the youngest scorer in the history of La Liga, the Spanish Super Cup, and Copa del Rey, has 25 goals and 34 assists in 115 games to his name across two full seasons with the club.
Yamal is also the youngest player to reach 100 appearances for Barcelona and has starred on the international stage, leading Spain to Euro 2024 triumph in Germany.
A graduate of the famous La Masia academy, he is the latest member of Barcelona’s title-winning squad to sign a contract extension after manager Hansi Flick and Brazilian forward Raphinha.
