Igor Tudor gets two-year contract extension as Juventus manager

Juventus general manager confirms Tudor to remain in charge for 2025-26 season

Igor Tudor has been handed a two-year contract extension as Juventus manager ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, Afrosport reports.

General manager Damien Comolli had announced on Tuesday that the Croatian will be in charge for the 2025-26 season.

He joined in March after the dismissal of Thiago Motta and was able to lead them to a fourth-place finish and qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League.

“Tudor has committed to our club until June 30, 2027 – with an option on 2028 – and will also lead the men’s first team in the coming seasons, starting with the first official competition to be staged in the United States, the Club World Cup,” Juventus said in a statement.

“Tudor’s bond with the club has grown even stronger, particularly thanks to the work done in the final stretch of the last Serie A campaign, where he helped secure a place in next season’s UEFA Champions League.

“His tenure began with a home win at the Allianz Stadium against Genoa and ended on a high note with a vital victory away at Venezia on the final matchday.

“A few months ago, Tudor reconnected with the club. Now, new chapters are waiting to be written together. Congratulations, Coach Tudor!”

Juventus are preparing to compete at the Club World Cup, starting their campaign in Group G against United Arab Emirates side Al Ain in Washington D.C. next Wednesday, followed by ties against Morocco’s Wydad Casablanca and England’s Manchester City.
