Damien Comolli, the newly-appointed general manager of Juventus, has confirmed that Igor Tudor will be in charge of the team beyond the FIFA Club World Cup and into the 2025-26 season, Afrosport reports.
Tudor was appointed to replace Thiago Motta in March, and his contract was extended until 2026 after helping the Bianconeri secure qualification for next season’s UEFA Champions League following a fourth-place finish in the Serie A.
According to Football Italia, Juve have the option to terminate his contract at the end of next month and will pay a severance fee of just €1 million.
Speaking to the press for the first time at his unveiling on Tuesday, Comolli affirmed that it will not be case even as the Turin giants are reportedly considering other managerial targets such as former boss Antinio Conte, currently at Napoli.
“Igor Tudor will be our coach for the 2025-26 season. We’re working together, and I want to reiterate that he will be our coach next season,” he said.

He went on to narrate how both met in France when he was president of Ligue 1 club Toulouse and Tudor was head coach at Olympique Marseille.
“The year Tudor was at Marseille beat us twice,” he added.
“We laughed about this. I told him: ‘Do you remember what I told you after those games?’ There weren’t many coaches who could keep that intensity and mental strength, and he remembered it.
“He made exceptional work at Marseille, their intensity and mental strength were outstanding that season.”
Juventus will be preparing to feature at the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, where they have been paired in Group G with Al Ain, Manchester City and Wydad Casablanca.
Comolli also confirmed they reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to extend Randal Kolo Muani’s loan to accommodate him for the summer tournament and possibly the new season.
