Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner says he is not yet focused on his side’s participation in next season’s Europa League after their historic FA Cup triumph at the weekend, Afrosport reports.
The Eagles defeated Manchester City 1-0 courtesy of a sublime Eberechi Eze goal to win the first title as a top-flight team.
The cup win guarantees them a place in the league phase of next season’s Europa League, but Glasner is not putting too much attention on it yet, and is rather soaking in the excitement of their historic feat
“Honestly, it feels so far away, and I hope I start to get into the party mode, because still I really can’t believe I,” the Austrian tactician said.
“We all should enjoy this day, and we should really now make a big party because these memories will stay forever, and then there is enough time to think about Europe, think about next year – but today: enjoy the moment, enjoy the day, and celebrate.”

Meanwhile, English left-back Tyrick Mitchell said the win was still a dream come true, with the reality not sinking in yet.
“Yeah, it’s a dream come true,” he said. “I don’t know how to explain it. I don’t know the feelings I’m feeling, but it’s amazing.
“It hasn’t quite sunk in yet, because we’re still on the pitch. I don’t know. I’m tired. But I feel like when I get home, it’s really going to sink in.
“It’s an amazing feeling. Not a lot of people get to play first team. Not a lot of people get to win trophies. So, I’m just blessed.
“It’s amazing. I couldn’t ask for a better day. Clean sheet, win, trophy, and then go home. I don’t want to get too ahead of myself – but yes [qualifying for Europe] it’s crazy.
“I’m not even trying to think about it too much, but it’s a bonus to all the hard work this season.”
Crystal Palace will now turn their attention to the Premier League on Tuesday when they host Wolverhampton Wanderers before concluding the season at champions Liverpool on Sunday.
