Eberechi Eze put his name on the scoresheet twice as Crystal Palace got the better of Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in a Premier League London derby on Sunday afternoon, Afrosport reports.
Senegal winger Ismaila Sarr had scored in the eighth minute but it was ruled out for offside by VAR.
Palace finally went ahead in the 45th minute when Eze tapped into an empty net following a marauding run from Daniel Munoz down the right flank.
The 26-year-old doubled the Eagles’ lead three minutes into the second half with Sarr providing the assist.
It was the third consecutive league game the England forward of Nigerian heritage scored in and fourth competitive game on the bounce.
It took his league tally to seven goals and eight assists while he has 12 goals and 11 assists in all competitions.
