Bukayo Saka scored a goal and provided an assist as England saw off Ukraine 2-0 in Group C of the Euro 2024 qualifiers on Sunday.
It was his eighth international goal for England, making him the fourth player in England history to score at least eight goals by the age of 21 after Dixie Dean, Jimmy Greaves, Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen.
The Three Lions were 2-1 winners over reigning Euro champions Italy in Naples in midweek and had no problems at Wembley against the Ukrainians, with Saka’s lovely weighted pass finding Harry Kane to score the opening goal in the 37th minute.
Saka then turned scorer three minutes later with a powerful strike on the edge of the penalty area.

Saka has also been involved in 24 goals (17 goals, seven assists) in his last 34 appearances for both Arsenal and England.
The form is a testament to the stellar season Saka is having, where he has been an instrumental figure in the Gunners’ current eight-point lead over Manchester City in the Premier League.
Arsenal will resume league action after the conclusion of the international break, playing host to Leeds United next Saturday.
