Estupinan completes AC Milan transfer from Brighton

Ex-Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino signs for Al-Sadd from Al-Ahli

Pervis Estupinan has completed a transfer move from Brighton & Hove Albion to AC Milan, Afrosport reports.

The 27-year-old Ecuadorian left-back has put pen to paper a five-year deal worth worth £17 million inclusive of add-ons.

He joined Brighton from Villarreal in 2022 and played 104 times in all competitions. He made 34 appearances in the Premier League last season with the Seagulls finishing in eighth place.

Estupinan was also part of the Brighton team that qualified for the Europa League for the very first time in 2023 and reached the round of 16.

“AC Milan is delighted to announce that Pervis Estupinan has joined the Club on a permanent basis from Brighton & Hove Albion FC,” read a club statement.

“The Ecuadorian defender has signed a contract with the Rossoneri until 30 June 2030.

“Pervis Estupinan will wear the number 2 shirt.”

Estupinan is the first player from Ecuador to join AC Milan. He is also the fourth summer signing for the Rossoneri after Samuele Ricci, Luka Modric and Pietro Terracciano.
