Nasiru Salisu scored a brace as El-Kanemi Warriors defeated Abia Warriors 2-0 to lift the 2023-24 President Federation Cup at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in in Lagos on Saturday.
It was El-Kanemi Warriors’ third title in the history of the competition, after previous triumphs in 1991 and 1992.
El-Kanemi will join Enyimba to represent Nigeria in the CAF Confederation Cup next season, as part of their reward for the triumph.

They were also presented with a ₦50 million cheque, while star midfielder, Salisu was decorated as the Most Valuable Player (MVP).
Abia Warriors got a ₦20 million naira reward as runners-up spot while Ali Ishaku was named goalkeeper of the tournament.
