DR Congo manager Sebastien Desabre is confident Manchester United full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka will represent the Leopards.
The 25-year-old London-born player looks poised to represent the country of parents after seeing very little opportunity in breaking into the England national team.
Desabre named a 27-man squad on Monday as DR Congo prepare to take on Gabon in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers next month as well as a friendly against Uganda.
The French tactician stated that Wan-Bissaka still needs a bit of time before he can make his decision.
“I believe Wan-Bissaka will come, but he needs time,” Desabre said.
“He is very sensitive to the selection, it is up to us to give him arguments by having a good project.”
