The keenly contested fixture saw the two debutants go at each other in the early stages of the game but failed to create meaningful chances as they went into the break on level terms.
The second half was a replica of the first, as goal-scoring chances were at a premium as the game ended goalless after 90 minutes in a repeat of their previous encounter in the group stages.
The game had to be decided by penalties, and Edo Queens just fell short as Kafayat Mafisere and captain Chioma Olise both missed their respective spot-kicks, while Mahira Eldanbouki scored the decisive penalty to hand FC Masar the victory and bronze medal.
