2022 FIFA World Cup champions, Argentina have cancelled their international friendly with Nigeria that was scheduled for March 26.
Argentina Football Association had planned to have the three-time African champions next month as part of their preparations for the 2024 Copa America in the summer.
Reports indicate that the match was cancelled due to logistical problems with the organisers unable to secure United States of America visas for the Nigeria delegation in time.
The match was scheduled to take place at the Coliseum in Los Angeles after the friendly was first scheduled to take place in China but it was moved back to North America due to issues with Chinese authorities.
Meanwhile, Argentina have now confirmed that they will face Cost Rica on March 26 after they face El Salvador on March 22 with both games taking place in the USA.
