The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been drawn in Group C of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals alongside Tunisia, Uganda and Tanzania at the draw ceremony held in Rabat on Monday night, Afrosport reports.
The three-time African champions finished runners-up to Ivory Coast at the 2023 edition held on Ivorian soil. They will now be tasked with going for ultimate glory this time under the watch of Malian coach Eric Chelle.
Meanwhile, the Elephants have been drawn in Group F and will battle it out with five-time AFCON champions Cameroon as well as Gabon and Mozambique.
In Group A, tournament hosts Morocco will face Mali, 2012 champions Zambia and Comoros.
Group B will see record seven-time champions Egypt go up against South Africa, Angola and Zimbabwe while Group D is made up of 2021 champions Senegal, DR Congo, Benin and Botswana.
Group E pits 2019 champions Algeria with Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea and Sudan.

The AFCON 2025 finals will take place across nine venues in six Moroccan cities from December 21 to January 18.
