Benin and Vasteras SK midfielder Matteo Ahlinvi is doubtful for the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Nigeria and Libya, Afrosport reports.
The 25-year-old was taken off in the 34th minute during Vasteras’ victory over Hammarby in the Swedish league last weekend.
In addition, the midfielder has recorded three goals and two assists in 26 league appearances for the Swedish side this campaign though he is yet to score for his country having featured 22 times for the Cheetahs.

Benin will host the Super Eagles of Nigeria as they are currently second in Group D having gathered six points in four outings.
Gernot Rohr’s side will then be away to the Mediterranean Knights of Libya next Monday.
