The Cheetahs have accumulated six points and are four points behind group leaders Nigeria. They have played four matches, winning two and equally losing two.
However, both West African countries came across each other on September 7 when the Super Eagles won 3-0 in Uyo. The Cheetahs will be looking to recreate the performance they displayed during the 2026 World Cup qualifiers when they saw out a 2-1 victory against the three-time African Champions despite being the first to concede.
