Patson Daka scored twice as Leicester City won Stoke City 5-0 at the bet365 Stadium on Saturday afternoon to maintain their healthy lead at the top of the Championship standings.
Daka was featuring in his second match for the Foxes since returning from international duty with Zambia at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, and broke the deadlock in the 27th minute with a close range finish off an assist from Ghana’s Issahaku Fatawu.
Kasey McAteer made it 2-0 three minutes later and it remained that way until the 66th minute when Daka converted from the penalty spot to complete his brace and increase his tally to six goals and three assists in nine league games this season.
Leicester veteran Jamie Vardy did the rest with a brace of his own including a penalty for the final goal.

Enzo Maresca’s side hold an 11-point lead over Southampton at the top of the table and will be on another road trip this time to Watford next Saturday.
