The Cheetahs languish at the bottom of Group L with two points after four games, but they can revive their chances of qualifying for next year’s tournament in Ivory Coast by beating Senegal.
Gernot Rohr’s side are yet to win a game in the qualifiers while the reigning African champions who have qualified for the tournament are yet to drop a point after four games.
Benin have only made four appearances in the Africa Cup of Nations, with their last outing dating back to Egypt 2019.
