The 20-year-old suffered the season-ending injury halfway through the third quarter of their 110-102 loss to the Mavericks at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on October 28.
Hendricks suffered the non-contact injury away from the ball after landing awkwardly as he lost his footing while running down the court on a Jazz attack.
He was attended to by the medical team before being stretchered off, with many of the players on both teams visibly disturbed by the sight of the injury.
Hendricks started in all three of Utah’s opening games this season, averaging 4.7 points and 5.0 rebounds in 25.0 minutes per game.
