Rwanda captain Djihad Bizimana on Thursday said he and his teammates are unperturbed by the quality in the Super Eagles team ahead of their crucial 2026 World Cup qualifying clash, Afrosport reports.
Bizimana, who is expected to lead the Amavubi out at the Amahoro Stadium on Friday, is confident they can get the job done against the star-studded Super Eagles, who are looking to get their qualifying campaign back on track.
“There’s no worry, there’s nothing to worry about,” said the 28-year-old midfielder. “We have already faced them twice, and I think most of them are here, so there is nothing to be concerned about.
“We respect them as a big team with big names, but as players, we are really focused on what we are doing in training.”

The Super Eagles have yet to record a win against Rwanda in Kigali, and Bizimana is adamant the Amavubi will give their all to get a favorable result against the three-time African champions.
“We will go out and try to give 100%, even 150%, because we know they are a good team and really want to win this game to return to the top,” he added.
Rwanda, currently second in Group C with seven points, is three spots ahead of the Super Eagles, whom they will face at 5 p.m. West African Time on Friday in Kigali.
