2023 FIBA AfroCan: Mali announce 12-man squad for Angola trip

Mali basketball coach Kana Kante has announced his 12 players for the 2023 FIBA Africa Basketball Championship (AfroCan) that will begin in Angola on July 8. 

The 12-man squad is dominated by six players from Stade Malien, Mozambique-based Bourama Diarouma also made the cut alongside Moussa Guindo who plays for Ittihad Tanger in Morocco.

The 2023 FIBA AfroCan will take place across three Angolan cities of Luanda, Benguela and Hula.

The competition is reserved for players playing exclusively on the African continent.
