Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen’s shirt number with his new club Galatasaray has been revealed, Afrosport reports.
The 25-year-old, who joined the Turkish club on Wednesday, will wear the jersey No. 45 during his time at RAMS Park.

Osimhen, who joins Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal from Napoli, will earn a whooping €6 million a year during his time with the Turkish champion.
A statement from Galatasaray read: “An agreement has been reached with professional footballer Victor James Osimhen and his club SSCN Napoli SPA for the temporary transfer of the player free of charge.”
“The football player will be paid a net seasonal salary of 6,000,000 euros for the 2024-2025 season.”
Osimhen will now jet out to join up with the rest of his Super Eagles teammates as they prepare to take on Benin Republic and Rwanda in their opening two matches in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The prolific Nigerian forward scored 76 goals in 133 games for Napoli, and the reigning African Footballer of the Year, who led the Partenopei to Serie A triumpn in 2022-23, holds the title of being the first African to win the Golden Boot in the Italian top-flight.
Galatasaray are currently second in the Super Lig standings with three wins from three games, and they sit one point behind Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce, who have 10 points and have played a game more.
The Turkish giants will compete in Europa this season as the Okan Buruk-led side are set to partake in the revamped UEFA Europa League.
After the international break, Osimhen will be looking to make his Galatasaray debut when they host 12th-place Rizespor on Saturday, September 14.
