Felix Agu and Benjamin Fredrick have been handed their first Super Eagles start in the final of the Unity Cup 2025 against Jamaica at the Gtech Community Stadium, Afrosport reports.
Agu is a German-born left-back but has pledged his allegiance to Nigeria and will start opposite Remo Stars right-back Ismaila Sodiq, who provided the assist for the opening goal in the semi-final against Ghana.
Meanwhile, Igoh Ogbu retains his place at centre-back with former Flying Eagles star Benjamin Fredrick, who currently plies his trade with Brentford in the Premier League, and is also making his first start.
In midfield, Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi maintains his place alongside Brentford’s Frank Onyeka.
The attack is star-studded with Bayer Leverkusen’s Nathan Tella making his second appearance, while Rangers forward Cyriel Dessers maintains his place after scoring against Ghana. Nantes winger Moses Simon is also given a start, likewise, AC Milan’s Samuel Chukwueze.
