The Togolese Football Federation (FTF) has confirmed an international friendly match against Lesotho before their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers this month.
The match is scheduled to take place in Johannesburg, South Africa on June 14.
After the exhibition game, Togo will face Eswatini at the Mbombela Stadium for their AFCON qualifiers on June 18.
The Sparrowhawks currently sit at the bottom of Group B with two points after four matches, and defeat in the match would dash their hopes of qualifying for the continental tournament in the Ivory Coast. The last time Togo played in the AFCON was in Gabon 2017.
Lesotho, on the other hand, will face Comoros at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto for their AFCON qualifiers on June 17.
Lesotho are already eliminated in the fight for qualification to the Ivory Coast, as they currently languish at the bottom of Group H with a point from four games.
