Tammy Abraham says he hopes to be part of AC Milan’s illustrious history after making his debut over the weekend, Afrosport reports.
The 26-year-old England forward, who is of Nigerian heritage. will spend the rest of the 2024-25 season at the San Siro after completing a loan move from AS Roma.
He came off the bench in the 2-2 draw with Lazio last Saturday, setting up Rafael Leao for Milan’s second goal.
It is a fresh chapter for his career after missing the bulk of the previous campaign due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
“For everyone from growing up, as a kid, this club was the biggest club in the world,” Tammy Abraham said at his official unveiling.
“They’ve won major trophies, they’ve won a lot of competitions, they’ve had great players. So, first of all, it’s an honour for me to be here and to play in such a fantastic city, in such a fantastic stadium with amazing fans.
“You know, for me, I’m here to win. This is a club that’s won a lot of things and I want to be part of that history.
“So as much as I can, I’m going to help the team and hopefully get some silverware at the end of the season. This is my ambition, this is my dream so this is what I want to achieve.”

AC Milan are the second most successful team in Italy with 19 Serie A titles but the most successful Italian team in Europe with seven Champions League titles.
Abraham joined Roma from Chelsea in the summer of 2021 and has featured 119 times for the Italian capital outfit, scoring 37 goals and providing 12 assists. 26 of those goals have come in the Serie A.
