Nigerian defender Samuel Isife has joined Czech First League side Slavia Prague, Afrosport reports.
The 21-year-old joins Slavia from fellow Czech club Dukla Prague and has signed a long-term contract that will keep him at the club until 31 December 2029.
Although the deal has been finalised, Isife will remain with Dukla until January, after which he will officially link up with the Red and Whites.
“I believe in my abilities, my talent, and the direction I’ve set for myself,” Isife said. “Keep working hard and listening to the coaches—that’s helped me everywhere I’ve gone. I can’t wait to run out onto this beautiful stadium and leave my mark on it.
Isife began his professional career in the Czech Republic with FC Vlasim before moving to Dukla, where he continued his development and caught the attention of Slavia’s scouts. During his time at Dukla, the Nigeria registered two assists in seven league appearances.
He follows in the footsteps of fellow Nigerians Peter Olayinka and Yira Sor, who have previously worn the Slavia Prague shirt.
