Senegal duo Ndiaye, Sarr score in Everton win and Palace draw

Senegal duo Iliman Ndiaye and Ismaila were on target in Everton’s 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion and Crystal Palace’s 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Sunday, Afrosport reports.

Ndiaye opened scoring in the 23rd minute after slotting in Jack Grealish’s cross for the first-ever goal at the Toffees’ new Hill Dickinson Stadium.

He also scored the last goal at their previous ground, Goodison Park, netting a brace in a 2-0 win back in May.

Manchester City loanee Grealish was at it again to assist James Garner for the second goal.

Meanwhile, at Selhurst Park, Sarr opened his season account for Palace after connecting with Daniel Munoz’s cross in the 37th minute.

The Eagles were however unable to hold on to their lead as Forest equalised in the 57th minute via England winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, of Ghanaian heritage.
