Antoine Semenyo has signed a five-year contract extension that will see him tied to the Vitality Stadium until at least the summer of 2029.
The Ghana international was one of the standout players for the Cherries during the 2023-24 season, scoring eight goals and providing two assists as the south coast outfit secured their survival status.
The highlight for Semenyo was his brace in a comeback 4-3 win over Bournemouth which won the Most Improbable Comeback award after going three goals down.
“It has been clear for all to see the rate of Antoine’s development since joining 18 months ago. He has gone from strength to strength, and enjoyed an incredible first full season with us,” Bournemouth Chief Executive Neill Blake said in a statement.
“Agreeing on a new long-term contract was important for us to recognise his contribution as a key member of our squad, and we’re excited to see this continue for years to come.”
