Sadio Mane scored a brace while Cristiano Ronaldo netted a hat-trick as Al Nassr stormed to a 5-0 win over Al-Fateh for their first win of the 2023-24 Saudi Arabia Pro League season.
The Knights of Najd suffered defeats against Al-Ettifaq and Al-Tawoun in their opening two games and needed a response.
They were victorious over UAE side Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai in the AFC Champions League qualifiers in midweek and got off to the perfect against Al-Fateh when Ronaldo back heeled for Mane to cooly finish off in the 27th minute. The Portuguese superstar made it 2-0 11 minutes later with a fine header.
Ronaldo increased the tally in the 55th minute with simple finish into an empty net after he was fed with a nice pass by Abdulrahman Ghareeb. Ghareeb was the provider for the fourth goal as he crossed the ball for Mane to head home.

Ronaldo completed his hat-trick in added time with a simple tap in.
Al Nassr’s next opponents in the Saudi Pro League will be Al Shabab on Tuesday.
